In a dramatic move to stimulate broadband take up in Ireland, Esat BT today announced that it will provide Irish consumers with a free four month trial on its IOL Broadband service.

The offer allows new customers sign up to any IOL Broadband service and use it free for a period of three months without any obligation or commitment to purchase. If the customer decides to continue with the service they will receive a further month free as an added bonus. Customers can register their interest now at www.iol.ie.

Since the launch of IOL Broadband exactly one year ago, Esat BT has continued to break new ground in making broadband available to the mass market. Customer numbers have grown significantly since launch and with this new offer Esat BT believe that tens of thousands of additional consumers can now experience the benefits that broadband brings. Esat BT has two standard Broadband Services; IOL Broadband with an installation of €90 and a monthly charge of €39, IOL Broadband Plus has an installation of €80 and a monthly charge of €47. Both products are available with a 15% discount on this monthly charge when a customer also signs up to one of Esat BTs home phone services.

For all new Broadband customers Esat BT now include a free web-cam. IOL Broadband customers are provided with the use of a dual USB/Ethernet modem. IOL Broadband Plus customers receive a dual USB/Ethernet modem to keep and also free software for Anti-virus and Firewall.
